Vapour blasting can be used on several materials such as:

  • Aluminium

  • Bronze

  • Magnesium

  • Titanium

  • Brass

  • Copper

  • Plastic (nylon, polypropylene, acrylic and perspex)

Some examples of things we can do are heads, blocks, gearbox, cam covers, water pumps, carburettor bodies, mounts and manifolds. If there is something else you would like to have done that we haven’t listed please call to enquire.

Vapour blasting can remove paint, rust, dirt, corrosion and carbon. Blasting is used to prepare items ready for painting by evening the surface or for cleaning up to look as good as new.

The difference between wet and dry blasting is, wet is less abrasive and creates a smoother finish. Compared to dry blasting which impacts the surface more, which leaves and rough and uneven texture on the outside. This can make it more difficult to paint afterwards. Wet blasting is far less damaging to the material and leaves it with a soft polished finish.
